Trip to the Dells

We spent the week after Labor Day with my family in Wisconsin Dells. We had a really good time and it was really our first vacation as a family. It was the first time that we went somewhere that wasn't one our parents house! The first two days that we were there we spent at Mt. Olympus water/theme park. Everyone had such a good time there. They had so much stuff for the kids as well as for the adults. Here are a few pictures from our two days at the park.

The kids had such a great time playing together. It's so fun to see all of them interact. There are 5 grandkids, ages 4, 3, 2, 2, and 1. Plus, since Ella doesn't get to see them as often they all love to play with her. The resort that we stayed at had a lot of activities to do right on site. We were able to try out the paddle boats one day and saw the animals that they brought in for a little petting zoo. We also spent an evening in the indoor pool.

It was a great vacation overall and really nice to just get away. Ella and I were able to stay there for a whole week, Marc stayed for a few days, but then had to get back to work. After our week in the Dells, Ella and I went to MN with my parents. I'll post more about our trip in MN tomorrow. Here are just a couple more cute pics from the Dells.
